For many Cambodian families, education is unaffordable, which is why we have determined the provision of education as our ongoing focus. Sunrise is currently working with the local government to identify the educational needs of community children living in poor villages. Sunrise is also working alongside the government to transfer children from corrupt orphanages into our care.
“Education is the most powerful tool which you can use to change the world.”
– Nelson Mandela
With the help of committed local staff, a small team in Sydney, Australia, and of course our donors, Sunrise are able to support 2,000 children living in the community. Your generosity also supports the needs of 120 children living in residential care.
All these children need a safe and loving place that they can call home.
-Okun (thank you) for being the change-maker.

“We were one of the first to purchase our unit in Prospect 1838. The proximity and ease (bus, car, bike) to the city for university and work is fantastic. It is a quick five minutes to cafes and restaurants in North Adelaide or two minutes to the community feel of Prospect Road shopping and café scene.
The friendly team at Eminent Homes, answered our many questions and made our first foray into city living very easy. Well done and look forward to seeing Prospect 1838 flourish!”
“Being first-home buyers in Australia we set out find our own property that would be suitable for our family, be eligible for the first home owner grant, and in the long term, have the potential to become an investment property.
After looking around for several months we realized that the property we were after was right under our noses in Prospect 1838!
What really convinced us that Prospect 1838 was right for us were the community and family-orientated features, such as the outdoor cinema and children’s play area. Having these on our doorstep, along with being in the catchment zone for numerous schools was a real plus point.”
